Review summary

From the moment we boarded, we knew we would love this vacation. Royal Caribbean did not pressure us into drink packages, booking future vacations, pictures or specialty dining. We were able to be as active as we wanted.

We loved all the closet and drawer space. The mattress could have been more comfortable but our cabin steward got us a mattress topper. We enjoyed relaxing on our veranda.

Ship tip

Don’t expect to do everything in one cruise. Plan to go on future cruises. Bring comfortable shoes because there is a lot of walking and try to book midship or closer to the elevators.

This is a good port to skip and have fun on the ship. The shops are very aggressive and streets and sidewalks have uneven pavement and are a fall hazard.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island) Did not visit port

We’ve been there before. This is “fake Haiti” I would not trust the beautiful Caribbean water to be free of coliform bacteria. If you stay on the ship, they refund your port fees too.
