My family and I really enjoyed the cruise. The staff was very attentive and the main dining was one of my favorite parts. I find myself longing the food and constant activities. It was very rare if ever to have a dull moment while on the Harmony of the Seas. It was an incredible experience that I hope to do again sometime soon.
Embarkation

The line to enter was a bit long, but it went fast and smoothly.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The main dining rooms was my favorite part. Dining every night in a fancy setting was lovely. I also enjoyed a complimentary specialty restaurant experience that was very unique. Since I did not have a beverage package a do wish there were more options for drinks (jucies and such) outside of only the buffet times.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
I had a broken wrist during my stay so staff was very hesitant to allow me to do activities. I did many excursions off the boat simply covering my cast with a doctor's approved cover so it didn't get wet. However, once I was on the boat the staff did not want to liable for me. For example, going down the small slides by the pool is easy (children do it). Being told I cannot go down the slide because my arm could get hurt (when it stays crossed in front of my chest) was a bit disappointing.
Entertainment

The shows and musicians were fantastic. Many times I found myself hearing the lovely music from my room and running outside so I could participate in the dancing. I also frequented the night club and the DJ was very fun. He also took requests from the crowd which was very nice.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
My waiters were the best I have ever had in any restaurant. Carlene and Ossoman made sure my family and I had an unforgettable experience. Before I book another cruise I would love to be able to know if they are on staff as they were excellent servers and all around lovely people to speak with. Our room steward did a lovely job! My husband was feeling under the weather a few days and made the room a complete mess. I was so happy with her attention to detail and the lovely little towel animals I found when I returned to the room at the end of the day.
Ship Quality

The layout and design is magnificent! I also really like how at every elevator station I can see what the big items are on each floor. This really helped me avoid getting lost.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin was very comfortable for my husband and I. There was a lot of room for us to unpack our items. We loved that the couch was closest to the window. This gave us a little privacy if we wanted to sit on the bed with the window open. I preferred this layout to the rooms my other family members had, which had the bed closest to the balcony. I also enjoyed the view of my balcony.
Ship tip
Security responses could be better. My father experienced a situation where people were being noisy in the middle of the night on the pool deck. Security was called, but after this encounter this only aggravated the party goers. They got louder and screamed even more just to upset the people who complained. I understand they said that they could force the people to leave. But I did not associate the Royal Caribbean as a company that allows ratchet and rude behavior to persist and possibly cause confrontation. My advice would be to have security handle inappropriate behavior before guests feel the need to take matters into their own hands.
My family and I did not enter the waterpark and we had an AMAZING time. I believe the online advertisements for excursions was a bit misleading as I thought the waterpark was the majority of the island.
I had a lovely time at the beach in Nassau. However, since my husband was nauseous and went to the Medical deck, they did not allow him to leave the room (quarantine). This is personal disease he struggles with and it was not something contagious so this did put a damper on our day in Nassau.
We did an excursion to the Blue Hole and it was AMAZING! I loved being able to go into the mountains of Jamaica and experience the nature. We also sat in tubes and went down the White River, which was a lot of fun as well. The one thing that I would suggest is for their to be more time here. We were notified a few days before embarking that our time would be cut a bit short in Jamaica, but that was very disappointing. The boat should let us off a lot earlier and let us return later as well. There was a fight that broke out in the lines at the port of Falmouth because people were rushing to cut in to try and make it to the boat. As many of us were still there I didn't understand the need to push and cut others, but this was a very BAD experience. The people at the port trying to usher us through the line to the medal detectors did not know how to handle the ruckus. The young ladies who were screaming and shouting through the whole process continued to mock other passengers as they successfully cut other lines. This type of confrontation could have been avoided if the people working at the ports had better control. Or a simple guard rail would make it harder for passengers to try and sneak in and upset others.
Appreciate your detailed review. Sorry you ended up being limited on the activities they would allow you to do. Glad you enjoyed your cruise in spite of some rude fellow passengers.
