Enjoyable. The ship is amazing but I like Anthem just a tad more.

The Key program really helped here. Easy check in and an enjoyable lunch afterward.

Food and Dining

We go to the Windjammer frequently but, after five cruises, I don't think its gotten any better with time. That could be my fault because I don't venture out of my food comfort zone so I usually don't try the different options from around the world.
We had a few breakfasts in the dining room which were quite satisfying. The exception was the last morning breakfast that was part of the Key program The service was awfully slow which was surprising since there were a lot fewer people to serve.
Went to Johnny Rockets once. Unlike other ships this one actually resembles a real diner. The food was great and the staff were wonderful. They even did a dance routine out on the Boardwalk which was hilarious.
They need to train the staff at Sorrento's to not pile the pizza slices on top of one another.
Onboard Activities

They get a markdown on this because there was no disco party. The ship really doesn't have a nice size venue (like Music Hall on the Anthem) to have such events ao they are usually held on the Promenade which gets a little crowded with everybody dancing, eating, drinking, and shopping.
The Solarium is nice. Unlike other ships it is not totally enclosed.
Tried table tennis on a sea day. It was humorous as my serves would blow right back to me.
Trivia games and other activities were abundant.
Entertainment

All the shows we attended were fantastic. Grease was well done. Columbus was silly, but cute and enjoyable. The Fine Line was mesmerizing at times.
Service and Staff

All staff were friendly and attentive. Royal Caribbean needs to pay these people more. A special shout out to our stateroom attendant Jovan (from Macedonia). He did an exceptional job.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Each ship is supposed to be unique in its own way. However I found myself missing things such as the North Star and the bumper cars which I enjoyed on the Anthem.
It seems as if you spend half the cruise waiting on elevators, a fact of life on a mega ship. The stairs are always there for trips between floors in the same vicinity (or longer if you want to go from the Casino to the Windjammer)

Ship tip
Take time on the first day to get familiar with where everything is located.
My new favorite port. The island is beautiful. Went to Goombalimba Park and had a great time. Had to get used to the sight of police officers carrying semiautomatic weapons
Just laid by the pool and went on a glass bottom boat tour. Passed on the new water park. The island looks great with all the new enhancements. RC understandably hypes it up, given the money they put into it.
Off and on the ship within an hour. I guess shore excursions were cancelled due to a driver's strike and the island lost power. For us, it was like a trip to the mall.
On the Oasis class ships, the trick with the elevators is to NOT use them when its overly crowded by the elevators. Take the stairs up a deck or two, and go to the other side banks, or other end bank of elevators. If there are more than 10 people in the elevator well... Im choosing other routes. Lol
As for the ships being the same... they are only mostly the same for each class. The Oasis and Anthem class are totally different, each with their own special features and attractions.
