Definitely loved harmony, we loved it so much we are booked onboard Allure next year. Central Park was a highlight of my cruise and I wish I spent more time there.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation was very fast, took about 10-15 minutes!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food was amazing! They do not have an omelette station in the buffet but you can get one made for you at mini bites, I loved mini bites because it was a great place for a quick snack. (Chips and guacamole there are 😍😍😍) Sabor, a specialty dining restaurant also offers chips and guacamole and to be honest the both tasted the same. Wonderland was amazing and very entertaining. Food was amazing overall.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
I never found myself bored on Harmony Of The Seas. Activities on board consist of rock climbing, zip lining, a flow rider, a 10 story dry slide, a carousel, 3 water slides and much more! (Highly recommend going on just the green slide, the blue and yellow were just plain darkness and took forever) The rock climbing was definitely a favorite of mine.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
There was so much entertainment on Harmony of the seas and most of it was amazing. The ice skating show was great! Actors seemed to fall a little bit but the ship was in motion. The plot line was a little hard to follow but it was still very enjoyable. The Fine Line, a show in the aqua theatre was very cool, they had high jumps, trapeze and people flying around the aqua theatre, definitely recommend. Grease was definitely my favorite show, it was my first time seeing grease and was a bit hard to follow. After watching the movie I realized that the show was missing many key parts which made the story confusing if you hadn’t watched it before. Grease was still very enjoyable and was a very fun show to see. Then we have Columbus. It was interesting.... I think it’s a show you can skip as it’s very silly.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Staff on Harmony of The Seas were always nice and enjoyable to be around! Our waiter was very nice as well as everyone else- except our room steward. He was always grumpy and in a bad mood. I went to the room to grab my camera while he was in there and he was not happy about that, he rolled his eyes at me and kept huffing and puffing. He was never that friendly either, but most of the time royal Caribbean’s staff are always very respectful, on the Anthem our room steward was very nice.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The design of this ship was amazing with one minor thing. Central Park was my favourite part of the ship, but because of it being in the middle of the ship there is no main pool, and the 3 pools were very small and always crowded. The adults only pool made the other 2 pools feel very crowded because of the amount of kids in them. There was always hand sanitizer and they were always making sure the ship was clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
I was a bit worried about booking a boardwalk balcony but decided to give it a try. I thought it would be noisy and I would only see a few people walking around but I was wrong. The boardwalk was very exciting and made me feel like I was apart of what is going on inside the ship. You can see the ocean from the cabin and you can also watch the aqua shows from the cabin too. Definitely recommend considering booking a boardwalk balcony
Ship tip
Go to the steakhouse on boarding day, it was completely empty.
Highly recommend the Krazy lobster! It’s free! Free kayaking, free chairs and free snorkeling (if you bring your own gear) The Krazy lobster was great but every second there is someone asking you to buy there product. I don’t think I have said no thank you or I don’t smoke in the same day. Even when I was having an obvious conversation with my friend I hear “excuse me sir” And they do not give up if you ignore them. So just say no thank you.
My favorite port EVER. Cococay perfectly balances the thrill and the chill. We got a thrill cabana which was definitely worth it, we spilt it in half with another family and ended up paying 500 (price varies based off cruise) The cabana comes with a butler to bring you food and drinks, a safe, a charger, lounge chairs and water park passes for everyone (water park passes are $100 so it was a no brainer for the 4 of us to buy the cabana because we only ended up spending an extra 100) I did every single slide, make sure you got there early. I had to do half between in the morning and do the rest in the afternoon because the lines were super long midday. In between we walked to south beach to check it out, then we went to oasis lagoon. None of the pools are heated and I found them extremely cold. The island has a lot of walking and you will be very tired at the end of your visit.
We did the monkeys sloths and atvs. Absolutely amazing. The sloths and monkeys were so cute. The monkey checked my pockets and tried to steal my glasses. Luckily they were in closed and could have never taken anything. The ATVs were amazing. I am trying to book them again on my next cruise they were super fun. Highly recommend.
I liked port Canaveral, we stayed right near the port and ate at grills for lunch the day before our ship left. We stayed there for a few hours before hanging out at the pool for a while, for dinner we ate at the pier. Not much to do unless you go to a theme park.
