Review summary

Even though the seas were rough we still had a great time, if you don't enjoy the rocking get an interior cabin down low, it's a big ship but it still rocks.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We were on the ship within 20 minutes on arrival to the pier.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We had the specialty dinning package. The food is so much better and more convenient than going to the main MDR.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Grease was great, the ice skating shop show was very good, I would recommend seeing it when on board.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was attentive and exceeded expectations.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
All looked clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The room was big, plenty of closet and storage space. The only thing I didn't like was, I felt the mattress was to hard for my liking.

Ship tip

Go have fun

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

I think they fixed the mistakes that they made in Labadee. Plenty of places to eat and relax.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico Did not visit port

40mph winds.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
We booked a monkey and sloth excursion through this site and had the best time.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We always love going to Cozumel.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Just as fast as boarding with facial recognition. I would always have to sweat going through customs with all the items we would purchase.

We will also be on the 14th floor. Any feedback on convenience of that level or noise?

Maja, I've cruised in 2018 on April 29 for 7 days and last year March 2 for 7 days and both times it was very calm except for a late night where the captain was trying to get ahead of a storm. I think you just get lucky. I would imagine the summer might be rough due to hurricane season.

I was on the same cruise. The ship was definitely rocky, and watching him try to pull into the port in costa maya was a bit scary. I was glad they decided to cancel that stop. Do you know if the time of the year makes a difference as to how calm the water is? We went on the allure in September and had just one somewhat rocky night.

I dont mind the rocking ship... makes me sleep like a baby! We were in 35ft seas on the inaugural Symphony Transatlantic crossing, and I still slept great! 🙂
