The ship was beautiful. Glad I experienced it. That was about all the good I can say. RC beds were hard as a rock and not just in our cabin. Food was not great. Ship was way to big with way to many people. Carnival is still #1 in my book. Sorry RC!

Cabin was great other than the sink was the size of my hand and the bed was like sleeping on the floor

Ship tip

Boardwalk is very noisy. Get an ocean view or central park.

We had a blast and this was the best part of the cruise. Rent a Chill Island Cabana so worth it. But book early when rate is low.

Everyone has different tastes for food and entertainment. I personally love the Oasis class ships just based on all the entertainment choices. And I will add that I will NEVER cruise on Carnival again. Being a seasoned cruiser with over 16 cruises, after 6 cruises on Carnival never again.

Thank you all for your advice. Different strokes for different folks I guess. Martin, I plan my cabin location and go above and beyond when planning my cruises. Not my first rodeo. The ship was gorgeous and the entertainment was unbeatable. Just prefer the mid-size ships to the floating cities. This is strictly my opinion and the opinion of my group.

I love the Oasis class ships... but then again Id never book anything but a ocean balcony cabin that I select. Its just not work it to risk a bad cabin. As for the bed, every cruise, the first thing I do is ask the steward to put a mattress pad on... and every cruise they have done a great job making the bed comfee. 🙂 I think some people just get overwhelmed on Oasis class ships... they didnt do any research ahead of time, or look at deck maps then wonder why they feel lost or get stuck in crowds. Lol I find the Oasis class are the easiest to navigate away from or around the crowd choke points.

We were on the harmony last year, I agree too big but still had a great experience. Love RC

Sorry you didn't love everything about the oasis class ship, Did you let your steward know you had a problem with your bed, sometimes they can make it more comfortable. Different tastes in food for everyone I guess. Better luck next time!

Disagree about Boardwalk cabin. Had a balcony on Allure next to Aqua theater and we slept soundly. Only time it was noisy is when we had the door open. Sorry you didn't like it but that was my very 1st cruise and it was exactly what I wanted. I believe no one line is perfect.

Unless you get a suite your room and sink won't be any bigger on any other ship. In fact on a smaller ship they'll be smaller.
