Review summary

We had a total of 16 with us - family and friends. Everyone had a great time and ready to do it again in 2 years. With everything that this ship offers - no one was bored. With over 5000 passengers - never felt crowded. Pool chairs were hard to find sometimes. Overall a wonderful cruise.

Embarkation

Royal Caribbean has it down to a science. Took us maybe 15 minutes to go thru the line and get on the boat.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was wonderful. We only ate at the main dining room and Windjammer. They could use a few more late night snack places besides the pizza place.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
My boys did the flow rider, rock climbing and putt-putt. They all had a great time. They enjoyed the casino too.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Grease was amazing! The headliner - Elvis tribute - was great. The comedians were okay. Dazzles DJ and band were great.

Children's Programs

My boys are 21

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was wonderful! He did a fantastic job. All the staff were wonderful. The waiters/waitresses going around getting your drinks were great.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship design was good. Ship was very clean and well maintained. Loved that they always had you washy washy before eating. We were in the front of the ship - next trip I will ask for middle due to always being at the wrong end of what I wanted to do.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was very comfortable for 2 people. We had a balcony and it was nice to be able to go outside. There were more storage on this boat - 2 closets. Bathroom shower was bigger than our last cruise on Oasis. The cabin was very clean and Putu (cabin steward) did a great job. Husband said bed was too hard for him but didn't bother me.

Ship tip

You can stay in your cabin until the very last minute on disembarkation day. No need to wait in the public area.

Ports of call

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

We did a Catamaran Cruise and Snorkel thru Shore Trips (our t/a hooked us up). They were great! Took us snorkeling for an hour and then went down the beach coast. Very nice crew!

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Don't think we will go back. San Juan is dirty. We walked around the port area and ate at Senor Frogs.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
It is a perfect island. Our weather was windy and cloudy. Storm was on the way. Boys still got in the water but it was cold. Did see a lot of fish while snorkeling (on our own). Lot of walking to get somewhere (they do have shuttles). Would suggest you look at the map before getting off boat to know exactly where you want to be. Food was great on the island. The shopping was a little pricey.

Disembarkation

RC has it down! We ate breakfast at the Park Cafe around 7:45 and then stayed in our cabin until 8:45 when they called our number. Walked right out and went thru facial recognition with no problem. Picked up luggage and had porter take to our shuttle. Took possibly 15 minutes total.
