Beautiful Cruise, however, guest services slip up caused an excursion problem.

Review summary
We did a B2B on this cruise. This was our 2nd week. First week, Oct 6, 2018 was absolutely lovely without and problems. During the first week I had found 2 Ipads on the floor in the theatre and turned them into guest service. The young man took my name and Cabin number. Everything went smoothly disembarking and re-embarking for the 2nd week, Immigration and all. Very easy process. We booked the 2nd week because we particularily wanted to see Dunes Falls in Jamaica as I had never been but my husband had. We booked the VIP pkg for the falls and Bamboo Beach luncheon. As we were goingdown the gangway, my husband was encouraged to proceed to the bus but I was held back with no explanation. My husband was carrying our passports in case they were needed. I had been travelling with a bad hip so was limping around during the cruise. I was instructed to go to Deck 5 and to see Jamaican Immigration. I was born in the USA and hold and American passport. After 45 minutes of sitting in the dining room, my husband was not alerted as to where I was. He thought that I had fallen or was hurt. Again no information was relayed. I was technically under arrest as I was not allowed to leave the presence of the Jamaican Authorities on the ship. The Immigration gentleman asked about my passport, if I had ever reported it lost or stolen. No I had not. He continued to question me about my passport even insinuating an arbitrary date that it had been reported. I was concerned about where my husband was as he had my passport. Eventually, after some concerning worry, he was brought up to where I was. He presented my passport and Jamaincan Immigration finally believed that I was who I was, etc. He claimed that RCC had reported my passport lost or stolen. Needless to say, the one and only excursion we wanted to take was ruined. After being told numerous times, untrue stories as to who was responsible for this passport fiasco, my husband finally tracked down a supervisor. Come to find out, when I had turned in the Ipads I had found, it was coded into the computer as if I had lost or reported my passport stolen. Therefore, I was detained and not allowed to leave the ship. RCC refunded the excursion fee and gave us a coupon for 25% of that weeks cruise to be applied to our next cruise. We were thankful for their offer but only wanted the truth. No good deed goes unpunished as they say.Embarkation
