Review summary

Despite a few issues, I did enjoy the Harmony of the Seas. It is a huge ship. I have mobility issues and had a power scooter to navigate the ship. Will I do Harmony again? We shall sea...

Embarkation

3 out of 5
I had completed the guests with special needs form expecting a wheelchair to get on board. They told me to wait in a specific Area for an available wheelchair. What was the point of completing the form and letting them know that I needed one? After waiting for quite a while, I got up and I could actually spoke to a guard with and proceeded to get attention to my needs. I finally got a wheelchair and they wheeled me into the ship. This process needs to get better.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I had issues with the food. The shrimp cocktail was awful. There were four little limp, wet shrimp and I was very disappointed. The beef tender loin was tough and not edible. The tiger shrimp was left with shells and legs. Pretty tough to remove the shells from your teacher. The fruit was not ripe and hard. What was good was the escargot, French onion soup, all the desserts and breads. The lobster and filet mignon were superb. I only eight in the main dining room because I refuse to pay any additional monies to eat at the specialty restaurants. $50 and up is not a reasonable charge. The buffets also we’re very good and plentiful. I actually bought the refreshment package. I was satisfied with the choices albeit still pricey at $18/day. All I all, I did enjoy the food.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I have mobility issues so I’m not able to take advantage of all the activity was on board. They have a tremendous amount of activity is and I was delighted with just even watching some of the people enjoyed them.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Cruise Director Abe Hughes was awesome! All shows and entertainment he lined up were terrific, from the high diving acts to the ice skating shows to Grease!!!!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Jean Philippines, cabin steward was the best! Always kept our cabin spotless. Samir Bosnia, waiter in main dining room Grande, was amazingly entertaining and did a fantastic job. I presented my concerns to Guest Relations and Grande food mgr, Ajit went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. Karla Mexico, Guest Relations rep, was instrumental in providing service, in room movies are now $12!!!! Also, they are now charging $8 for room service. I totally disagree with these charges. $2.50 for a tiny amount of popcorn!!!!!! I have a problem with RCCL nickel and dimeing it’s passengers.

I apologize for the typographical errors. I used the vocal feature and some words got lost in translation. 😳
