Review summary

Great cruise all around. Will be going again in 23

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We had a suite and the key so embarkation was a breeze.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5

Great Gatsby Dining Room

3 out of 5

Dining room food was “okay”. Service was a little lacking one night, and we had to leave a few times before dessert to not miss the show.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
There aren’t many “things” to do on this ship, but the crew makes up for it by having awesome activities. Trivia, soduko, and watching the egg drop challenge were our favorites. The shows were also very good.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Comedian was very funny and Tango Buenos Aires were fantastic. The theatre is small so you can be up close and personal.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Lady G’s staff is where the ship shines. From the officers all the way to the janitors, everyone had smiles on their faces and were eager to greet and help you. Made us feel like royalty.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was clean, but definitely shows her age. Toward the end of the cruise, the public bathrooms had a bit of a sewage smell.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The junior suite was great! Perfect size for two people with a huge aft balcony right in the center of the ship. Beautiful sunrise and sunset opportunities and private views entering and exiting port.

Ship tip

Don’t expect a ton of activities like slides, flow rider etc. this is a smaller ship with a more classic cruising experience.

Ports of call

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

3 out of 5
The port is very commercialized. We went to the Chaccoben ruins as well as seven colors lagoon and it was great! The port itself is the typical cruise port with pushy salesmen

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5

Galveston, Texas

2 out of 5
Meh. I’ve been there 1000s of times so I’m a little jaded. The port itself is nice but the beaches suck and there isn’t much to do on the island.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
This is why I pay for the key. Strolled right off with my bags and in my car northbound in less than 15 minutes.
