Review summary

Cruising on the Grandeur for me is the perfect 'get away'. It has everything that I need. Since I am retired and it is so reasonably priced, I can do it three times a year. This year I'll be back in August and December. Love the Grandeur.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

I ate in the Dining Room as much as possible. Great service and very good food.

Onboard Activities

My main activities are trivia and games.

Entertainment

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Grandeur is known for its service. Waiters always provided excellent service. My room steward always kept the room clean and well provided.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I'm not one for the super large ships so for me the Grandeur is my favorite ship bar none. Its design makes it easy to get around and the common areas were clean and well-maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Since I was cruising alone, the inside cabin was just fine. The bathroom was very small but that's to be expected. If I were travelling with another person, I would have gotten at least an Ocean View.

Ship tip

Eat in the Main Dining Room often in order to meet the wonderful passengers on-board. If you are new to cruising, you can learn from their experiences.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland Did not visit port

I live here, that's why I cruise Grandeur so often. I consider myself fortunate.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

This island has much to offer. Check out which excursion(s) you like best.

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

Been there very often. Atlantis is a must.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

It's so nice to dock and not to have to tender in now. The $250 Million improvements made are fantastic. More are in the planning.

Disembarkation

Just be patient. I did not do self-assist and was still in my car by 8:45 a.m.
