Review summary
We cruised to the Bahamas on the Grandeur from 3/12 -3/20. As with any great time the days went too quickly. Our first stop was Cape Canaveral and we decided to stay on board because we had already seen the Space Center. During this stop we played the trivial games and had some down time for a change. It seemed like the day went very quickly because before we knew it we were off and heading to Nassau.
Once again we stayed on board and had some down time since we were at Nassau once before and had no desire to visit it again.
Next stop was Coco Cay and we enjoyed going to the island for the relaxation in the sun and I spent quite a bit of my time filming the cute little lizzards who were running all over the island. Loved it when two much larger ones showed up as well. The lunch that was provided was certainly the same quality that we had on board ship.
After Coco Cay we ended up in Key West on St. Patricks Day. While there we took advantage of the Hop On Hop Off Tour and we informed by the trolley drivers of the history and happenings of Key West. We decided to do some shopping and brought items for our grandchildren. They really enjoyed the outfits that we brought them.
After Key West it was back on the ship to head home to Baltimore. The trip was enjoyable expect for about 1/2 day of sea sickness for my wife.
As far as the dinning experiences I would give all of them 5 stars. The menu contained enough choices for everyone, great starters, main courses and desserts. Our waiter and assistance waiter were excellent.
We were really surprised to find that our room attendant Yudi was still working the suites.. We had a knock on our door and while my wife was talking with the person I knew right away it was Yudi. He is super and always has the room in tip top condition. I only regret that he told us that he was moving to another ship so unless for some reason he comes back to the Grandeur we might not see him ait hadnymore during our future trips.
Enna was our Concierge and she was a delight. She was always very pleasant and made us for comfortable when she was talking with us. Hopefully we will have a chance to meet up with her again in the future trips.
Love sailing the Grandeur, this was our third time, it would have been our fourth time but they had moved her south during 2011 so we sailed on the Enchantment that year.
Definitely looking to see when we will schedule our next trip, which we believe will we head towards New England in 2017.
If you have a chance and want to take a fun cruise, the Grandeur is the ship that you want to be on!

For anyone who is new to the Grandeur, you can go to the Windjammer for lunch, that is just about where everyone goes to. But take the time to go to the Park Café during lunch and get the roast beef sandwiches. They are excellent and it took us to our fourth cruise in order to find out about them!
