Review summary

Our cruise was wonderful! Main dining room staff for table 221, Wayne and Emmanuel were very attentive and polite, went out of their way to please us. Our stateroom attendant, Chris Valdez was the best!! Pleasant, polite and friendly, made our stay delightful! Food was great in main dining room, did not eat in Windjammer much due to crowds and no trays to carry food on. Entertainment was great, shows and activities! Loved the dance parties.Ship clean and beautiful. Our stateroom was small, but had good storage space for clothes, but suitcases had to be stacked by chair. No exhaust fan in bathroom, so mirror steamed up. Beds were comfortable and room thermostat worked well for heat and cooling. Very pleased with venue and places visited. Captain Mate as proficient and by passed storms. I love The Grandeur experience!

Need exhaust fan in bathroom. Get rid of tiny round table, not needed and had to put in closet.

Ship tip

The Gatsby main dining room delightful!! Wayne and Emmanel were the best waiters!! Went out of their way to please us! Windjammer too crowded and no trays to carry food on! If you like sit down style dining and being waited on with gourmet food, always choose The Gatsby for all three meals!

I truly hope the smaller ships are kept in the fleet. We are 3 couples that cruise together & we love the smaller ships. There is a much better feel that you're on a boat. More visibility to see outside as opposed to feeling like you're inside a building. By the way, we put our suitcases under the bed. We're sailing on Apr 9. Second time on Grandeur.

really think next year will be it for that ship....everyone wants bigger...went with 3 friends and one hung out in casino...not into that. Everyone was so use to it all but it was new to me and I had a great time...and I met a classmate from grade school and my hometown! You will be so veteran next year.....have a great time.....and yes..back to reality!
