Review summary

Plenty of entertainment on the cruise and most of the excursions were worth their value.  The wait staff was incredible, providing an abundance of food above and beyond what we ordered.  Overall, the ship was very clean and the ride was relatively smooth (minus some chopping waters during inclement weather).

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Overall, food was acceptable, although wasn't stellar.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty of things to do, and if not, you have plenty of opportunity to enjoy an adult beverage.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The comedy shows were amazing. Wished the Bingo was less expensive.

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Well above and beyond my expectations. Incredibly friendly staff, particularly Jigger and George from The Great Gatsby.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean and kept very well.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very clean and surprisingly spacious. Plenty of storage for all your clothes and belongings. Shower was kinda small, but I will take this over sharing a shower with unknown guests.

Ship tip

The Windjammer was usually packed with people, so I recommend The Great Gatsby if you have the time (dinner was usually 90-120 minutes total). Definitely pay the extra money to have a window with your stateroom. You'll get plenty of exercise if you take the stairs over the elevators.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

5 out of 5
Amazing views of the skyline.

Port Canaveral, Florida

3 out of 5
The views were not that great, mostly of storage bins and industrial buildings.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Takes you into the city center; however, the souvenir retailers are very pushy.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
Tendering to the private island was quick and easy.
