Review summary

Over all this was a great trip and cruises are what you make of them. This ship is better on the 7 day itineraries. We went for the ports and the price bottom line and RCI delivered. Every ship has odds and ends that arent perfect. My comments are my opinion based on my cruises experiences. This ship has a great all teak wrap around promenade deck.

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

This was our second time to Bermuda and first to this side of the island. The ferry to Hamilton was cheap and easy to use (right across from the ship). The wharf area is nice and has a beach/snorkel park (follow signs). We couldnt swim because it was to cold this time of year. If you go during the season, take the ferry or bus to St. Georges. You can then walk from the ferry to Horseshoe, Achilles or St Catharine beaches.
Don't Miss: Horseshoe, Achilles or St Catharine beaches.

George Town, Grand Cayman

This was my 7th time to Cayman. Please note that we had six ships in this small town. Last time we had 4 and it gets crowed. Go to Seven Mile Beach and you will be fine and duck the crowds. It's hard to get a cab to the beach, if you can catch the beach shuttle it is $4. The beach is too far to walk from the docks. Take a beach shore excursion to Seven Mile Beach.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

This was our third time here. You can take a water ferry to a free beach or go to Little Divi Beach Club. It's worth the $28 bucks.
Don't Miss: Beaches

Willemstad, Curacao

Nice town to walk, it's much shorter walk than it looks to downtown. Van Drake Island Beach is nice. This is at the other end of the island.
Don't Miss: Beaches

Oranjestad, Aruba

Didn't like Americans, water not clear, seaweed, and too many angry taxi drivers. The downtown was decent to walk. It is $10 per beach chair and $20 for and umbrella.
Don't Miss: Nothing

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Excellent place with tons of beaches and they are free. You do have to buy a drink this includes beach chairs and umbrella. Cabs are safe and you have to take them anyway with ship excursions. Use this great site http://cozumelmexico.net/Cozumel-Beaches.html a cab to the beach is $12 and well worth it.
Don't Miss: Paradise Beach
