Review summary

Really nice cruise. The entire experience was better than I expected. I was expecting to be roughing it a a bit, bit it was actually really nice. I got a lot of great pictures, and got to ride in the open sea which I loved. I saw eagles and beautiful scenery. Met some really nice people, ate great food, saw great shows. Lookingh forward to my next cruise

The breakfast buffet was really nice. And the dinners in the restaurant was nice too, as well as the lunch buffet. The service was very professional.

Onboard Activities

The fitness center had really nice equipment. The bike seat was really hard and my head hit the ceiling trying to use the elliptical, but the quality of the equipment was impressive.

Entertainment

The musicals were really good and the comedian was quite funny. I didn't see all of the shows. Karaoke was fun.

White south Africans should not make jokes about being African Americans -- too soon. If they were born in China, they probably wouldn't call them selves Chinese American. The atrocities that happened in South Africa happened not too long ago. I know the guy meant no offense. I have white south African friends and I know that is still a touchy area.

Ship Quality

For such a big ship and it was surprisingly clean and tidy. I saw quite a bit of rust around the edges, but I'm not sure how much that could have been helped given the environment.

Cabin / Stateroom

The room was bigger than expected and cleaner than expected. The shower was small, but I know that can't be helped. The bed was really comfortable and the crew kept the room nice and tidy.
