I have sailed on Princess several times , including Alaska, Panama .. so I knew what to expect. Their entertainment is always well prepared and something we looked forwarded every evening. The layout of the ship was standard ( thank you for not adding more cabins like on the Island Princess!) Food was ok but I can see that in order to keep the prices for cruise low , the cruise-line has to save money somewhere. It is the food. Smoked salmon is substituted with cheaper salami etc. But overall very pleasant cruise.

Food and staff in the main restaurant was great, Plenty to choose from . Staff excellent.
Since I have cruised on Princess several times I can tell that some specialty food like smoked salmon appeared only once or twice in the breakfast buffet.

I like the gym , enough machines, not very crowded, nice view of the ocean from the treadmills

Entertainment on the ship was excellent. Plenty of quality shows for adults and kids ( magician etc)

Our server in the main dining room was Gustavo Garcia and I Dewwa. Both were excellent.
Our cabin attendant was Renato Paguio, again excellent service.

A lot of construction is going on in Mazatlan . The weather was overcast so we went to the shopping zone and then we took the open taxi. He took us around the town, showed us everything all for $25 ( it was 5 of us) . Great!
