This was my 22nd cruise in 7 years and one of my favorites! Loved San Franciso and the Mexican Riviera. Princess provided an above average experience with top notch crew! I would highly recommend this cruise!
Embarkation

Embarkation went very well with no wait or issues!
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food in both the DaVinci Dining Room and the buffet was really great! We were very pleased with the variety of food offered. The food was always hot, fresh and tasty!
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Onboard activities available were the same as most cruise ships. Would have enjoyed a little more entertainment in the atrium area. I would prefer at least some sort of musical entertainment going on at all times especially on the Sea Days.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The entertainment was very good however several entertainers were repeated during the cruise. Would have preferred more variety.
Children's Programs
No children
Service and Staff

The entire crew was extremely friendly and helpful! Really enjoyed having such a great crew!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Easy to find your way around. Nice sized ship! Only issue was with not being able to get direct elevator access to the DaVinci dining room. If you take some of the elevators you are not able to get directly there, It's one of those where you have to get off on the floor above, walk down the hallway then take another set of elevators. Once we got the hang of it we could find our way there with no problems. We had a similar experience on another ship in another cruise line.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Excellent, spacious, handicapped accessible stateroom! One of the most spacious rooms we've had making it very easy to maneuver an electric wheelchair.
Ship tip
See my comments regarding the DaVinci dining room!
Loved San Francisco! We went down to the Fisherman's Wharf and had some really fresh seafood. We took a boat tour which took us under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz. Very friendly, clean city. Stayed at the Hotel Majestic which is a historical building with great architecture! Used Uber to get around - very easy
Loved Puerto Vallarta! Took a taxi to the Malicon (Boardwalk). One side of the Malicon is lined with shops and restaurants and the other along the Pacific. Great walking with beautiful scenery!
Loved it! Very beautiful with a great amount of new construction going on all along the Malicon (Boardwalk). We took a local tour in a Pulmonia - open air vehicle made by Volkswagen - would highly recomment!
Loved it! Seems fairly new area around the port - clean and safe. Took a local boat tour ($15) and it was awesome! Went all along the rocks; stopped at a small beach, around the "Arch" into the Sea of Cortez (Gulf of California); saw lots of colorful fish in the crystal clear blue water and also a number of sea lions!
Very smooth process except for the transportation as there was a snafu in the type of transportation we received. Staff stepped in and arranged for a handicapped vehicle with a ramp to accommodate our needs.
Wow way to go Robin! We have 19 Cruises 17 with Princess in 11 years. The Grand Princess is a nice ship as are all the Princess ships we have been on. Keep on cruising! Almost forgot going to Alaska in May on the Grand!
