Review summary
This ship was liked by first time cruisers because they had nothing to compare it to. A passenger called it a "dead ship". The food was mediocre and boring, the same thing every day. The activities were not approached with any enthusiasm. The crew were doing their job & did not seem to have their heart into the task. This cruise lacked the traditional "Caribbean Spirit" This was the first time on a cruise that I had food that was inedible. It seems that Princess makes a big deal about loyal customers but does not follow through with any real perks. We talked to a passenger who had over 50 cruise with Princess, they told us that they had to beg for the perks that they were promised. This couple were so sold on Princess that they always pr-booked at the end of one cruise & put a deposit on the next. This couple told us that this time they were so disappointed in the service that they asked for there deposit back. The people at the desk did not even ask why, obviously they don't care My wife & I have been on many ships & cruise lines so we can compare different products. We were disappointed that we spent so much & got so little for our hard earned dollars. Not even the cute little animals made from towels, or the small tokens from the crew to show that we were really appreciated for returning to Princess. Next time I will book with the competition.Ship experiences
