Had a fantastic time. Bula, is a greeting the Fijians use and they use it a lot! Take wet weather gear for Suva as it rains a lot.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Smooth embarkation on November 1 2019 on the cruise from Adelaide, South Australia to Fiji. Onboard the ship quickly as there wasn't a lot of people to check in.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The buffet had a variety of food for everyone and it was delicious. Had anytime dining but for me, the buffet, Trident Grill and Prego's Pizzeria on the Lido Deck or the International Cafe on Deck 5 were my choice of places to go for food.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The Cruise Director's Team did great work to entertain the passengers, thank you Corey and team for the fun. The shows in the Princess Theatre, I didn't see those as they were the same shows we had on the ship last year on a cruise from Adelaide to New Zealand.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The room steward was wonderful. The waiters and the bar staff were the best and always friendly with a joke and a ready laugh if you told them a joke.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship has a great layout, so if you know where some of the places on board are, you can easily find your way around the ship without any problems. The ship is clean but there are definitely signs of wear and tear but the ship is going to go to P&O Australia in 2020, so Princess Cruises won't be spending the money to fix it.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabin is a mini-suite on the port side of the ship. Bigger cabin. Have to climb in the bath to have a shower but there are rails to hang onto.
Visited the city which is clean. If you go to the passenger terminal in the heart of the city, you can easily find some really good tours if you haven't got anything already planned while here. The hop on-hop off bus was $10 Australian, for example.
Hot with high humidity and a lot of rain. It was too humid for me, so stayed on the ship. I'm glad I stayed on the ship as many people returned on board soaking wet being caught in the rain. Saw beautiful views of the port from the ship though.
Been to Melbourne a lot of times, so stayed in the cruise terminal due to having to go off the ship due to Immigration regulations for the face to passport check before heading off into international waters as international tourists.
Sunday in this port and most of the shops were closed, with the exception of a couple of stores which all the passengers went to looking for things to buy. It was insane with so many people in a couple of stores that were open as they knew a cruise ship was in and opened their doors.
Organised chaos as we had people disembarking the ship at the end of their cruise, along with people going off the ship for their shore excursions. So much congestion on the gangway to leave the ship.
