Review summary
Not ever doing a Princess Cruise again. Royal Caribbean has them beat and others on the boat agreed that all other cruise lines have them beat.

Food and Dining
1 out of 5
On a cruise through Alaska you would expect the fish to be fresh but all of the seafood was old, fishy , and dry tasting. They were promoting how great there main salmon dish was which was marinated in maple syrup. I think they had to use that to cover up the strong fishy taste. Luckily I had some King crab legs in Juneau since the dinner on the boat used old frozen crab legs. The Lobster Thermidor was awful and so was all of the old shrimp. The Crown Grill was a specialty restraint you had to pay for but the food was great there. All of the drinks were also very expensive.

Ship Quality

Old boat and we had a major water leak which caused our front entry to be drenched and they waited until end of day to work on it even though we were at port all day and off the boat. They comped us with a cheap horrible bottle of wine for the inconvenience
Cabin / Stateroom

Old but okay
Ship tip
Don’t go and expect any good seafood and expect to be buckle and dined every time
Buckled and dined? Did they have seat bells to hold people in the chairs while they are? As far as fresh seafood, most ships load the food for the week at the beginning of the cruise and aren’t re-stocking at each port. Many of the ships in Alaska are older since most people go to Alaska for the ports and scenery more than the latest / greatest ships.
