Review summary
Overall the cruise itself was seamless. However because of the selection of food we will more than likely cruise another favored line next time.

Food and Dining

The buffet was extremely limited. I’ve been on 6 other cruise lines before as I like to compare and find the cruise lines that best fit us and this was by far the smallest selection.
The menu in the dinning room was nothing to write home about. I was not very excited for dinner at night.

Service and Staff

Our stateroom steward was the best we have ever had aside from Holland America.
Our waiter did a great job at remembering our likes and dislikes each night which was wonderful.

We got the hang of it. Dining room on 6th floor to the back of the ship was a little awkward for some to get to, but we managed.

The size was perfect for my husband and myself. I did really love the design of the open closet. It allowed us to fit all our clothes plus easily store all 5 of our large suitcases in the closet as well.
Absolutely beautiful cruising all the way in and then back out again. We saw so many dolphins, whales and otters as soon as we made the turn into the bay.
Adorable little town. We did the Skagway White Pass AND YUKON Railroad and it was incredible.
If you do the train, do the whole thing. Going into the Yukon was so worth it!
We enjoyed Juneau. A busy little town with a younger age (20’s-30’s) population.
For our excursion we did the Mendenhall Glacier and Salmon bake. The glacier was just another glacier. If you’ve been to Hubbard and glacier Bay I probably would skip it if I had to do over. But the Salmon Bake was wonderful and better then expected.
Cute town. Busy again with lots to see. We did the wilderness exploration cruise and Crab feast at George Inlet Lodge.
Unfortunately the cruise didn’t have much to explore. We were supposed to see wildlife and we didn’t see anything.
We pulled up a small crab trap and that was about it with 5 crabs in it.
Now the crab feast was incredible. The crabs were insanely delicious!! Again, our favorite part.
We thoroughly loved visiting Vancouver.
In the short afternoon we were there, we went and explored the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park which was pricy but now we can saw we did it.
We also checked out Stanley park and walked almost 1/2 of it. It really was beautiful. It was a lovely day filled with lots of people on bikes and long boards.
We also went down to Granville Island. We were told it was similar to Pikes peak but unfortunately it wasn’t to us. Cute place, but we didn’t stay long.
