Review summary
Princess Cruises promised one thing in their advertisement and delivered another. We were not given the upgrade offered nor the onboard credit advertised, $300 per person ($100 for me only), Military credit $100 ($50 only for my son). Mia with the pursers office did her best to resolve the matter, but to no avail. The reason given by Princess, I booked through . Therefore I will no longer be using or Princess.
The onboard and shore crews were very helpful.

Just a couple of things to point out...The Military credit offered by PRINCESS (Not Cruises Only) IS $50 per Military Veteran for a 6 day or less cruise. Your cruise was 10 days so you should have gotten the $100 Military Discount (http://www.princess.com/military_benefit_program/#.VfZD-JcnvHo . This is offered by PRINCESS, not Cruises Only so you need to call Princess on this, not cruises only!! For you to be told the reason you didn't get the Military discount is because you booked with Cruises Only is a flat out lie since it is Princess that offers the Military discount, NOT Cruises Only!! Are you sure the OBC offered didn't state "UP TO $300"? Sometimes these OBC's depend on cruise length and/or cabin purchased. I have been using Cruises Only for 25 years (12 cruises) and never had an issue. When we booked through them for our Trans-Atlantic this past April on the Caribbean Princess, we received everything they promised. They emailed us a contract folio which showed any OBC's we were entitled to before the cruise and it was verified via the princess.com website on our personalizer page.Which leads to my last question, do you use a dedicated agent at Cruises Only or just inquire about your cruise using the customer service line where you get a different person each time you call (think to many hands in the cookie jar scenario)? We have had the same agent for the past 4 cruises and maybe that having 1 person to contact makes a difference.

Sorry things did not go your way with the credits. I hope the rest of your cruise went well ? Alaska is a beautiful place to see.
It sounds like your issue is with the booking agent that made promises and did not keep them. I would contact them. I always get an E-mail from the booking agent stating what my on-board credit is supposed to be. I take a print out of that with me in case any issues happen.
I hope your next cruise is up to your standards.
