Royal's free beverages are iced tea, water,hot tea and coffee.They do not have sugar free drinks for free. If I recall the iced tea is unsweetened.Buying soda package will allow you to choose sugar free soft drinks.

Thank you for the review! Going on the same cruise in May. This will be my first Royal Caribbean cruise, it’s always been Carnival. Does Royal Caribbean have free drink options sugar free and regular drinks, or is it recommended to purchase the refreshment drink package?
