Review summary
Decided to bring myself and 7 others of my family for a Holiday cruise. I though spending a ridiculous15k on a cruise would be a good way to bring us all together. While it did bring us together, it was definitely not worth 15k...or 5 k for that matter. Royal Caribbean Freedom Of The Seas is very basic. I would compare it to floating on a Motel 6. Average continental breakfasts, main dining was gross, the paid dining was average and weird at times. The ship was old, thee entertainment was embarrassing, and the pools sucked. Then comes the Islands it sent us too. 1st island was Nassau, they canceled most of the activities due to wind, which there was very little wind, so the only option waw visit the Atlantis resort. Why would I want to go to a resort? Basically we just went and sat at a pool, pair for expensive resort drinks, and rode a few slides. Needless to say I was not happy. 2nd stop was their own Royal Island called Coco Cay. This was strange because it was just their own resort Island. No town, no shops, no culture...just water slides and a beach. finally we sailed home on the lame boat.....never going on a cruise again.Embarkation

Ship tip
Maybe try someone else other than Royal Caribbean? I don't know if they are all like this, but I'll definitely never spend this amount to float on the ocean again. This was the worst 15k I've ever spent.
