Review summary

My favorite thing was probably the fact that the bar staff was either fed up or untrained. Im leaving more towards the later, considering the improper use of the jigger. It was mind blowing how many shots were being poured into the drinks. On our second night, I WAs handed a glass of patron with a splash or pineapple, and he accidentally discounted the drink as well. I counted 3 measures in a 2 oz jigger. So we all just split it and added more juice.

Outside of our stateroom attendant and our dining & beverage staff….. everyone just seemed so unhappy to be there. We had several staff members tell us how poorly they’re treated by the company. We had two treat us poorly so m for no reason. We even had one confront my friends about not adding additional gratuity after being rude to us, then turn around and confront me about her not tipping him. I’ve only been on 6 cruises now. I’ve sailed RCL once before and will be with them next month for the star class experience. But this was by far my worst cruising experience.

The rooms and linens were stained and dirty. Various places onboard smelled strongly of mold and mildew.

Must say it's the 1st time I've seen someone complain about too much alcohol in a drink AND it being discounted. Maybe your next cruise will be better.

I sailed the freedom some years ago, sad to know some services and overall quality of the ship has gone down. I can tell you made the best of your situation thanks for sharing your experience.
