A wonderful getaway. The weather was perfect the whole time. How lucky we were!
Embarkation

No troubles. There are people at the cruise terminal all along the way greeting you and helping to direct you through the process.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
So much to offer. Many different cuisine choices.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Much fun going on all over. Personally only participated in the miniature golf beyond a lot of active relaxation.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
I enjoyed the various live music in several venues. The shows in the Royal Theater were real good. And the ice skating show really shined.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Each interaction with crew members had me feeling as though they all really want to see to it that you get what you want and are having a good time. You don't have to pay all that close of attention to see crew members constantly cleaning public areas and wiping touch surfaces and hand rails. Our room steward cleaned up after us more often than I could keep track of, including evening turndown service. Excellent.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I found it to be in excellent condition and very impressive for a ship that entered service in 2006.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was a standard ocean view balcony and was showing some age. More for dated decor that condition. But very comfortable. Also the cabon being at "the hump" was pretty cool.
Ship tip
Pick a few things that really interest you each day to do. But know that not everything is going end up being "your thing". And that's going to be true for most everyone. But Freedom of the Seas is a ship that provides so many different opportunities for entertainment, activities, music, food and beverages, not to mention relaxation and escape, you will discover what all makes it "your way" of cruising.
We had a good time going about on our own. Went to the Pirate Republic Brewery and the Pirates of Nassau museum. As for any locals that some might consider aggressive, just know they are trying to get your attention. And a smile, and a firm "I'm all set", is all that it takes to continue on your way with no hesitation.
Smooth. Facial recognition system helps makes the flow of people keep moving. Handling your own luggage during disembarkation speeds things along as well.
