Review summary

Make sure you plan excursions ahead of time! Even if you just want to find a cab in ports, have a plan! These islands are too rare of cruise ports and way too beautiful to not!

Don’t iverplan! After being in port 6/7 days, you’re exhausted when you get back on the ship!

Easily one of my favorite islands in the Caribbean. We’ve traveled and stayed there one (second time will be this summer) and gone on cruise ships. Walk around Old San Juan and good into the local shops, listen to the music and meet the people! SJ has some of the most beautiful people, art and culture we’ve ever come across! They are friendly and their love for their island exudes! If you are walking around Old San Juan, stop at Senor Palleta..... best popsicles I’ve ever had and great on a hot day!

Spent the day diving at Barbados Blue! Highly recommend their dive center for snorkeling as well as diving with the sea turtles!

Agree 100%, the more you cruise the more you learn.

Great review thanks! We’re booked on this same cruise for Halloween 2020. Haven’t been to any of these islands before except St. Thomas so I’ll definitely look into your suggestions.

Glad you enjoyed it and agree it’s always good to have a plan. Those that have complaints seem to just get off the ship with no plan, get overwhelmed by the vendors and those offering tours, then head back to the ship and post a review that says “horrible port, nothing to do, stay on the ship.” With a little research, there is always something of interest to do.
