Review summary

I was very disappointed with this ship, they didn’t really have any activities for us to do. In the little that they did was mainly cater to the Latinos. In the charge us for every little bitty thing. My sister and I had to speak with the cruise director and her assistant. Due to the fact that they didn’t have nothing for us to do and on how they cater to the Latinos. I EILL NEVER EVER DO FREEDOM OF THE SEA SHIP AGAIN.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
The waiters and waitress was very nice, but they served us the same thing every day.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
This was an old ship that I was on, the carpet had a really really bad Oder too it on the floor I was staying on. This ship needed to be upgrade with everything brand new!!!

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Furniture was old in wore out, carpet had a bad smell to it. It smelled like mildew inside my cabin and in the hallway. You could see water rings all in the carpet out in the hallway. Unbelievable, they had the nerves to charge us 1300.00 a piece to stay on a raggedy ship. I was very upset and disappointed. They cater more to the Latinos and the Mexican then they did my nationality. I was so disappointed in this whole cruise ship.

Ship tip

Do Not Go On Freedom Of The Sea Ship, It was very boring. They really didn’t have anything for us to do, while we was on board of the ship.

Disembarkation

They never call our group number, so we can vacate the ship at all. We just set there for a while, then they said the remaining of the people can just go down to 4 floor to get off ship.

You had a bad experience and it is all your fault, not the cruise line or the ship. There is more to do on any ship, than you could possibly do in 7 days. Read the daily info and walk the ship to learn it. Funny, you claim they cater to one group, yet you cannot provide a single example of how they did that. Cruising is NOT for you.

If you read the information before booking, then you were aware of the activities on the ship. I agree, this review is from a racist who is prone to negativity.

We’ve sailed on Freedom once and will be going again in December. Absolutely loved it! Lots of things to do on the ship so if it’s your own fault if you are bored. Also, I think they catered to ALL guests. Not just one particular group. You seem hard to please and seem to have a negative attitude. We had an amazing time on Freedom and loved the ship!

I've been on Freedom twice and enjoyed it...there were plenty of activities...did you try the rock wall..putt putt golf, join in the sail away party, meet different people?...I didn't notice them "catering"to locals. Sorry you didn't enjoy your vacation😔

We cruised on Freedom of the Seas and loved it. This is a very port intensive itinerary, so there is only one Sea day. We enjoyed just sitting on a lounge chair watching the ocean, reading a book and taking a nap. It seems many have forgotten the joy of relaxing and doing nothing. We found the shows enjoyable and enough to do in the evenings. As far as “catering to Latinos”, we did not notice this, but it does sail from San Juan, so there tend to be quite a few locals who take the cruise.
