Review summary

It was a good cruise. I expected more since I purchased a Jr Suite but I had no access to the concierge lounge or other benefits that other Suite guests had.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and uneventful

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was amazing I just wish they had drink stations closer to the rooms so if you want a drink late you don't have to go far.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The pools were ok but there was never really enough room especially on sail days. the pools and hot tubs were always jammed.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows in the theater were great, and the music from the DJs were entertaining

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
the Waiters and room stewards were great, very attentive and always with a smile. I wouldn't mind them being on any cruise I take.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
the décor was a little dated, the commo areas were clean and in great shape.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
the size of the room was great but the room furniture was dated and the bathroom had repairs done as if a child had done it. The caulking was sloppily done and the shower curtain was dirty. Also the shower head spayed all over the place.

Ship tip

for the price you are better off going with a Balcony state room the Jr. suite isn't worth the price.

Ports of call

Kralendijk, Bonaire

We went on the trolly excursion and, we would have been better served if we just stayed on the ship. there was not much to see.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

4 out of 5
great beach location. There was still some reminants of the 2017 hurricanes. good shopping

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
A little chaotic but it went fairly quickly

If the price difference is nominal, I will always stay in a Junior suite as opposed to a balcony cabin. The larger cabin, bathroom and double points are great incentives for us.

You do get to go through the suite guests line for a quicker check in. But other than that, no real benefits other than size and points.

Yeah, a junior suite isn’t a real suite. You do get double points, but no other real suite benefits. The extra square footage is nice though
