Freedom of the Seas is a nice sized ship. It’s easy to get around. The staff were friendly and worked so hard. We enjoyed meeting people from all over the world.

Food and Dining

We ate breakfast and dinner in the main dining room each day. For breakfast there was a buffet that had scrambled eggs, pepper omelets or ham & cheese omelets (every other day), sausage, bacon, cereal, pastries, fruit and waffles (w/lots of topping choices). You could order off the menu, as well.
The dinner choices were varied and delicious! Our waiter never rushed us and was always offering us more appetizers, etc. We were seated at a table of 10, with 4 other couples we didn’t know. By the end of the cruise we’d made 8 new friends 😊

Entertainment

The Las Vegas Tenors were fantastic! We had seen them on the Oasis last Christmas, too. The comedian/magician was great, also.
Service and Staff

Our waiter and assistant waiter went above and beyond! One night my stomach was feels unsettled, so I wasn’t going to order anything. Oh no, Franklin brought me a fruit plate, then delicious chicken broth that he insisted would help. Then our assistant waiter gave me ginger ale to help. Fabio, in the Diamond lounge was so awesome. He was full of information and gave us the best tips/advice for each port.

The ship was very easy to navigate. The touchscreen maps made it easy to find venues if you weren’t sure how to get there.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our cabin was in a great location with easy access to elevators or stairs. Our bed was comfortable and Lupitu, our cabin Stewart was great. An extra blanket, towels, hangers anything we requested, Lupitu was on top of it!
Ship tip
Enjoy yourself! Your cruise will go so fast, so take time to relax and meet new friends. Also, order the spare ribs in the main dining room, they’re delicious!!
So colorful and beautiful! We walked to town via the floating bridge. The bridge opened while we were in town, so they offered a free ferry ride to the other side for people who didn’t want to wait for the bridge to close.
We did an excursion through RC. It included an island tour then a couple hours on the beach. Our tour guide was so informative and never once asked us for tips. Most of us on the tour did tip our guide and bus driver out of appreciation.
It has been a few years since we were last on Freedom, looking forward to going again this up and coming September. Thank you for such an informative refresher
