The ports of call were beautiful. Our group chose excursions offered by private companies which were very enjoyable. Time on the ship was less enjoyable. Sub par food. Uncomfortable beds. Parents bringing young children to adult only entertainment. People talking throughout shows. Children in adult only hot tubs. Terrible disembarkation experience. Enough to make me want to try another cruise line.
I don't enjoy complaining but feel I need to be honest about this experience. :(
On a positive note, our dining staff and regular bar servers were lovely.

quality was not the same as previous cruises. Meat was terrible, specifically the beef which was tough. Staff was great.
Onboard Activities

3 stars due to children being in adult areas
Entertainment

Would have been more enjoyable if people could be quiet during performances.
DJ (Olive & Twist) had poor selection of music. 20 minutes English, 20 minus Spanish; didn't matter because no one was dancing. The Village People? Really??

Wait staff was great. Others were not as friendly as on previous cruises. (Perhaps they were tired of being verbally abused by cruisers, who knows).

Ship is showing its age. Small details like the light switches that were broken over bed side tables. The beds were the worst of any cruise; so hard. The steward was kind enough to supply extra linen to help soften the mattress. Apparently this is a common complaint on this ship.
Ship tip
Think twice about sailing out of Puerto Rico. I am not sure if this was a one off sort of thing but the clientele on this ship was rude not only to each other but to staff as well. I have not experienced anything like this on other cruises.
Another beautiful island. Did an island tour in the morning with Bonaire Vista Tours. Spent the afternoon snorkelling with Woodwind which was phenomenal!
visited guest services to ensure credit card was on file for check out Thursday evening (disembarking Sunday). We had a large group and even though we had provided our information, myself and another member of our group were turned back as we attempted to disembark. We then waited for more than 25 minutes while staff tried to contact the credit card companies to get authorization numbers. I finally paid cash just so I could get off the ship as we had transportation for our entire group waiting. They also chose to disconnect the phones in our cabins before 8:30 am making it extremely difficult to contact other group members to coordinate our departure. Not all of our group had cell service in Puerto Rico. This was extremely frustrating as well as people were literally running around trying to locate members of the group. Worst disembarkation I have ever experienced.
Why the cruise lines make (and clearly post) rules about no kids in the hot tubs and no toddlers in diapers allowed in the pools, and then refuse to enforce the rules is beyond me! Hot tubs are not safe for kids and swimming in pool containing feces from a leaky diaper is unsafe for everyone. E-coli is not a souvenir one wants from their cruise! 💩
