Review summary

The cruise was awesome. There was some things that were disappointing but overall it was really good. I had a lot of fun and I would defineltly think about doing one again if my family friends wanted to go again. Just don’t always count on activity’s always happening is what I learned.

Embarkation

The islands were so beautiful and there were so many cool things to do.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The dining room was great. My servers Alfredo and Shielina were awesome. Alfredo taught all of us kids cool tricks and how to make the napkins into animals. The food was good, just a lot fancier than stuff I would normally eat. The only other restaurant I ate at was Johnny Rockets and that was good. Windjammer was good but it got really crowded at certain times.

Onboard Activities

I wanted to do teen Harry Potter trivia. There was a bunch of kids there waiting for it and then it never happened which was so disappointing. I also wanted to go to the talk with the environmentalist and the person didn’t show up. My mom and I showed up and so did two other people. I was really looking forward to that and it really disappointed me. We were also given nothing saying that these events weren’t happening. No one told us anything.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were great. We went to the family friendly comedian’d show and that was great. We went to the ice show which was amazing. We also went to the other comedian who did the singing and the rope whipping which was good. We saw the musical which was really good. But our absolute favorite was this guy named Jack Wallis I think in the Bull and Boar pub. We went down to see him whenever he played because he was so good.

Children's Programs

The only event I went to, which was Harry Potter trivia, didn’t happen. There was a bunch of kids their waiting for it and it didn’t happen. No one told us we weren’t going to do the activity. Also the teen parties were way to late. I was falling asleep before those even started. Us teens were tired out from the islands.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our service was amazing. Our servers, Alfredo and Shielina at table 267, were the best. They were so nice and Alfredo taught us cool magic tricks and taught us how to make animals out of our napkins. They both helped out with the frequent spills that come with a bunch of kids goofing off.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I thought the layout was good. A little confusing at first but everything always seemed really clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was nice, but very small. It was our first time with a balcony so that was nice but the bed in the room was horrible and like sitting on a rock. I had to sleep on the couch bed which was very comfortable.

Ship tip

Don’t go to the windjammer at prime meal time.

Ports of call

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico was beautiful. I wish I had had more time to explore the city before we got on the ship. I highly recommend visiting old San Juan as their were really cool and unique little shops their with lots of cool art and jewelry.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

We stayed on the beach which was nice but there was so many people harrasing us to try and stay at their portion of the beach which brought the experience down a bit. Otherwise it was nice. We ate at a nice restaurant along the beach that I couldn’t pronounce the name of.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

We went on a paddle boarding excursion here which was really fun, except for that the winds were fighting against me that day, and we had a good time. We also got the oppertunity to snorkel a bit which is always nice.

St. John's, Antigua

4 out of 5
We went to a beach. It was nice and that was about it. It didn’t seem like there was a lot to do on that island. They were supposed to have a carnaval and parade while we where there but they started around the time we had to get on the ship.

Castries, St. Lucia

5 out of 5
This was our favorite port. We went on a boat excursion around the island. (I think it’s called Joy’s Crusises or something like that.) It was awesome we got to sail around the island, we saw a bat cave, got to stand under a water fall, snorkel at a cool beach, eat lunch at the beach. It was really cool and fun

Bridgetown, Barbados

5 out of 5
We went on a turtle tour. The guy we used got us out there before all the big tourist boats got there so we got to spend time alone with a turtle and then we got to and snorkel at two shipwrecks

The ship is very confusing. You have to go down one flight to come back a flight up cause you can’t walk through the floors fyi

It's nice to see a teen do a review.

At least you enjoyed yourself a little.

For the person who asked what was disappointing. It was the activities and how that was handled. Several that I went just didn’t happen. The person who was supposed to do the activity just didn’t show up and there was nothing notifying us of this sudden change of schedule. Another thing that I didn’t put in was that the teens activities weren’t really that interesting sounding. A lot of them were sports oriented and I’m not sporting at all so that was disappointing too.

What was disappointing? Just curious. I’m going on it in 10 months.
