Review summary

This is the perfect cruise for those who want to island hop or just stay on the ship. We loved visiting the Eastern Caribbean!

Embarkation

I’ve cruised out of San Juan before, so I was prepared. It’s a small port with limited indoor space. Expect to wait in line to drop off your luggage. The line moves fairly quickly. Once the luggage is dropped off, we got in line to get our sea passes. Short line for boarding and we were on the ship!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Very accommodating for someone with wheat and dairy allergies. The drink package was so nice to have. It was well worth it! We had special coffees a couple times a day to round out the alcoholic drinks that were bountiful!

I love the Solarium pool and whirlpools. Found some time to use the steam room and sauna, too. Felt great!

Service and Staff

Our room steward, Arnold, was always full of joy. We were blessed to have him. Slama, Raj, and Kenyata were our amazing dining room waitstaff. Fausto made some mean drinks at the Solarium bar.

Ship Quality

Did the Bacardi tour on our own. Was well worth the $15!

One of my faves. It’s a beautiful island. The monkeys were a highlight! Took a taxi to Cockleshell beach.

St. John's, Antigua

Loved it! Had an all day taxi tour of the island and ended up at the beach! I forgot the name of the beach, but they I do know they have 365 beaches...one for every day of the year!

Castries, St. Lucia

Took a taxi to Reddit Beach. The beach and water were lovely. There were way too many pushy vendors. It was not relaxing at all!

Bridgetown, Barbados

My favorite port. As part of a group of nine, we had a private catamaran for the day. We snorkeled with turtles and saw two shipwrecks. It was the best!
