Review summary

Overall we enjoyed our experience on the freedom of the Seas. The one piece of advice would be to improve the ingredients used in the desert; these were not of the best quality and also the variety needs to be increased, as far as the volume also needs to be increased for the people that are eating in one sitting. Everytime we went to get desserts, the bar was out and it took long time to be replenished.

Clevin and Olecksander serving table number 184/183 Where exceptionally wonderful! Their service is extremely professional. Being waited on by them felt like eating at one of the most expensive restaurants in Paris! Always friendly always smiling!

Ship tip

Desserts can be improved. The food was great but the desserts need a lot of improvement and variety. The amount of available desserts did not meet the volume of people at the buffet.

JJulie: I respect Vpalaez's comment, but, we are totally in agreement with you from experience. Freedom's MDR has a variation of several dessert selections, each night, any of which can be customized with ice cream, along with low calorie and savory items. The Windjammer has dessert selections in the dozens from fruit to very rich items. 24x7 you can get a nice selection of dessert pastries along with wonderful sandwiches in the Cafe Promenade. Food, drink, recreation, service and entertainment, on Freedom of the Seas, have us returning for the fifth time this year and we expect to meet several of its loyal repeat passengers. Freedom competes very well with any cruise ship today and while we love cruising on Allure and Jewel, Freedom is our first recommendation for our friends and family.

If your only complaint is that there's not enough dessert, then I'm golden! Cruising in 30 days on FoS 🙌
