Review summary

I love RCCL and especially the Freedom but this cruise had just barely good food and I am used to very very good food. My husband missed the Duck L'orange especially since he always looks forward to it because it is off the menu.***

I slept horribly because they put in new mattresses that were pillow top but there was no pillow. The top section that held the pillow was empty, no padding in it.***  The lady who was in charge of the wheel chairs upon disembarcation was disorganized rude and frazzled. Due to this several of the people became very angry. I have had to use this service many times and this was a disaster. No list was followed and we were the last people on the ship. She needs to be spoken to about her treatement  to the passengers,

Thank you for posting your review.  It really frustrating when wheelchair services are not up to snuff. We've had our share of snafus and understand feeling at the mercy of someone who doesn't seem to give a flying fig.  Hope you follow up with the cruise line about this.

I agree with the bed comment. It took a week for me to recover from the hard bed. We didn't have any problems with disembarking. Unfortunately you may have gotten someone who was having a bad day.

I'm sorry you had some challenges...that does happen some times trying to shuffle so many people. The thing that I decided to do SEVERAL cruises ago was to purchase two 2" foam mattress pads. I have a bag just for them and leave them tightly wrapped as they come from the store, put them in bag and open them in the room. It really helps with pleasant sleep. Costs an extra $40 on the cruise exp.
