Review summary

Just came back from a week on Freedom of the Seas. I cannot begin to describe the indifference of many of the staff, the lack of communication and the poor customer service all around from this company. I have sailed Royal Caribbean and its affiliate, Celebrity several times but this most likely be my last time. Within an hour of being on the ship, I slipped and fell on the pool deck. An employee was right next to me and did not once even ask if I was ok or needed help. I was completely blown away. My friend had to contact an employee directly to get help as I hurt my back and was feeling very dizzy. This is the water in our sink one day of the cruise, it was fluorescent yellow. I still cannot get answers as to what was causing this, but My friend and I showered, brushed our teeth and hand washed a few items in this water. I'm afraid to even know what was causing the water to be this color, passengers please be aware!

I had the same experience in Jewel of the seas, and asked in a meeting with the captain abou this, he refered to the chief engineer who said that we shoudn´t worry, because it was just the cooper tubes....HA !!

SO, even though the water was fluorescent yellow, you brushed your teeth with it? I mean, I realize that your point was that the water was yellow for an unidentified reason, but why would you brush your teeth with it? Ew!

I cannot express how pleased I was on the FOS. It is what you make of it. Our room attendant, and our waiters were awesome. They were like family. So much so that our whole family cried when we had our last meal with them. We enjoyed it so much we booked another one while we were on the cruise. This time we are going to try the Oasis. This cruise does not disappoint.

So you had such a bad experience! Ours was great , staff was very attentive. The diner selection always suited us and quality was there.

Was on the Freedom Nov 2015 and the ship was a dump...food horrible...entertainment blah...Coke machines with sticky floors all the time...bye bye Rccl...they put all their energy in their big new ships....sad😣
