Review summary

We had the time of our lives! The ship was awesome! So much to do! The food was amazing! By far though, Chops was the best! Our room was clean and our cabin lady Estelle was OUTSTANDING! Always a beautiful cheery smile! Stacy at the MDR was always fun and welcoming! Only complaint, NEVER enough chairs by the pool!

I think our cruise is sold out, but I'm going to call our travel agent and see about the upgrade. Thank y'all so much! Very helpful👍😃

I checked for you...for a 7 night cruise to upgrade from a junior suite to a Grand suite, 1,600 more. You are never in your room, that is my motto but they are nice

sherisanders    8 years ago

let me know:). will tell u more if u can get one!

Patrick4    8 years ago

Try to squeeze in swimming w sting rays in Cayman

tracyandchuck    8 years ago

I'll check, thank you!!

u can order from the full menu in the dining room for room service. we had dinner one night on our balcony. that is if u r in a grand suite or above

sherisanders    8 years ago

@tracyandchuck if you can afford to upgrade to a grand suite and there is one available then I would definitely do that! ours wasn't much more money and the perks r amazing! call your travel agent and at least ask. it was the best thing we did.

don't get the scrambled eggs for breakfast! they aren't good. if you get eggs order them over medium or however you like them. loved the bacon.

@Patrick4 that's awesome😃 all I can think about is this cruise!!! My husband is in Afghanistan 9 mos out of the year, since we've never cruised before I guess I'm just trying to be as prepared as possible. I'm a little OCD, lol

tracyandchuck    8 years ago

I sure will. We have my time dining too. Jr Suite. Any tips for the shows? Bacon, eggs etc for room service breakfast?? Things to stay away from or beware of?? We're doing the catamaran beach party in Labadee, winging it in Jamaica, dolpin swim in the and cayman, scuba in cozumel

Tracy, you will love it. 15 years ago this July we went on our Honeymoon cruise. We only vacation that way, fell in love with it. We share the joy today with our kids!

sherisanders    8 years ago

you will love it! not sure what you like to do so hard to say as there is so much in board to make your vacation the way you want it to be. tell April that Martin, Sheri, Ryan, and Emily said hi! Edwin was our server for my time dining. loved him! what type of a room are you staying in?

tracyandchuck    8 years ago

@sherisanders 20 days!! It's our first cruise. Very excited!! Thank you for the feedback👍👍 if you think of any tips etc please share😃

tracyandchuck, we had an awesome time! loved the MDR food. when are you going? April was our drink server on the upper pool deck. he will be there 6 more weeks until he goes on vacation. he was the best ever! we didn't pay for a specialty restaurant. no need to:). we only went to windjammer a few times for a snack or breakfast. loved having breakfast delivered to our room and eating on the balcony. I will miss being spoiled.

@sherisanders good to know, how was the trip?? Details please.........!!!

sherisanders    8 years ago

we just got off freedom yesterday. I saw the pool patrol remove towels from chairs :).

tracyandchuck    8 years ago

@Patrick4 absolutely NOT awful. You paid for your vacation too. If it's a problem I will do the same thing. The gall of some people. Entitlements infuriate me!!!

Patrick4    8 years ago

I'm the type, I would have waited 15 minutes and those are my chairs :-)

gkn    8 years ago

staff stood right there and watched a woman put th i ngs on whole row of chairs then walk away...at 6 am

Patrick4    8 years ago

It's just never enforced anywhere, even hotels. I say 15 minutes, lol

kcollins13    8 years ago

I preferred the ship on port days when everyone was gone. You can skip places like Jamaica and just stay on the ship and there's plenty of chairs available and no one in the hot tub's, it's awesome.

kcollins13    8 years ago

There are signs everywhere warning people not to save chairs. After 30 minutes it's fair game to move the towels. You could always take a picture with your phone which has a timestamp so if no one's been there for an hour you've got proof and it is the policy.

Patrick4    8 years ago

Try a resort lol, I know what you are saying. Thankfully I haven't had trouble w finding chairs, even on Oasis. People are frustrating that don't play by the rules. My wife and I are school teachers...if we see a row of chairs and several minutes go by w nobody on them...we will move the towel. Is that awful?

gkn    8 years ago

a chair is ok..rows of chairs in case their friends show up not so much

tracyandchuck    8 years ago

People are just rude and think they're the only one's on the planet. Makes me furious. I might be stealing me a chair in a few weeks, lol

gkn    8 years ago

agree about pool chairs..might be enoughif people didnt reserve several at 6 am and not come back for hours
