Review summary

This was my first time on an RCL cruise. The Freedom was really nice, love the Promenade down the center. Actually makes it easier to get from one end to the other. Although this is the largest passenger ship I have been on, it didn't feel crowded or hard to get around. I was travelling w/elder family member in electric scooter, but he got around well too. Food and dining room service was better than any of my last three cruises on competitors. Cristopher and Sheila Mae were so professional and patient, esp w/our 94yo w/scooter. Other staff came by to ask how things were, too. Alot of attn paid at all meals in dining room

Cristopher and Sheila Mae. Can't say enough. They truly got to know us, always had lemon on table, and glass of ice tea for my cousin each time. say it once, and never have to say it again

Ship tip

This is a nice well run sized ship. I have been reluctant to try larger ships b/c of our many 90+ yo's that go w/us. But this was manageable and had a large age range of passenger. That made it more pleasurable!! Loved watching the kids dress up to meet their favorite character!!

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Best port so far!! W/c's are hard to come by, even at 11am. But staff tries to give VIP service to those w/special needs
