Review summary

This was our second cruise on Freedom of the sea. The ship is fantastic! As on our first cruise the ship was very clean, the crew was very friendly and helpful, the shows were excellent. The only fault we found was the food in the Windjammer wasn't that good

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Except for the Windjammer the food was excellent. We enjoyed Jonny Rockets. For $4.95 (all you can eat) it was a great value

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Great entertainment. The ice show was excellent

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The crew couldn't have been more friendly and helpful

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our stateroom couldn't have been better. Roosevelt (our attendant) kept it clean and in order. We had one minor problem which he took care of right away

Ports of call

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

1 out of 5
To us Cococay was a waste of time. Very small with not much to see or do

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

5 out of 5
St Thomas was great. The last time I was there was in 1969. Many changes since then

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
St Maarten is a must see

Pros: The ports of call and the shows on the ship

Cons: Food in the Windjammer wasn't that good
