Review summary

For those who can book and travel last minute, Cruise 411 offers fabulous value. We booked three weeks prior to sail date. Getting away from the frost of the Northeastern U.S. to the Eastern Caribbean for a week was fantastic.

Water excursions would be best bets. Tour of the island you only see poverty and beaches. Lots of unfinished buildings; they don't take out a mortgage for the whole building in the beginning. They build and finance as they go, often leaving incomplete buildings for months on end.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

Snorkeling at St. John was beautiful.

Pros: The discounted value was fabulous; $ off base rate; free gratuities, free spa treatments (in port) and 10% discount on excursions.
