This cruise line seemed most concerned about making money (not that they shouldn't be, but I just don't like it to be so obvious). They took away the traditional prominade decks around the outside of the ship (except one that was out of the way to access), and forced everyone who wished to cross the ship on ANY floor to go either through their shopping area or through the casino. Also, the food in the main dining room was horrible, forcing you to go the dining room that charged a fee. The final straw was guest services lying repeatedly to us about the disembarkation proceedure, which ended up in a mass of people waiting more than 2-6 hours to get their luggage after they got off the ship.

Other then the room looking a bit old, the service, entertainment and food were very good.

The ship was really beautiful, exciting and offers a lot to do!!

As a solo traveler, I would have liked more of a variety of activities on board, and more information provided about the ship's amenities.

Ive been on 6 cruise.this was the frist time we've been on the explorer of the seas.it a beautiful ship.its the frist time we had a balcony room.now I'll never go on another cruise with out a balcony.we had the best time ever.the room was super.we loved sitting out on the balcony at night watching the star .it was beautiful .the crew was great very helpful.what ever we needed we got...the ice show was really good....we just had the best time....we wouldn't change a thing..

A good experience overall. I liked the concern of the cruise line for health issue of its customers by using hand sanitizers. All crew members were very helpful and friendly.All shows were top notch including the ice skating show. I enjoyed the dining choices and quality of the food. The shopping on board had fair prices and some bargains. The islands of PR, St Martin, St Thomas, and Nassau were a pleasure and we had plenty of time at each port..

Large and impressive the exployer of the seas offered so much i dont know how you couldnt enjoy yourself.

Ship was beautiful and service was excellent. Foof choices and quality not up to previous curise experience. Entertainment was not consistent with previous experience, but select acts were good.

Relaxing cruise with interesting ports of call. Many activities from which to chose. Beautiful ship, but entertainment acts could be improved. Ice show was great.

the ship was outstanding. it the ship was very clean. Also we did appreciate the sanitation of the hands before entering the Windjammer.

Trivia with Matty was so much fun. The pizza is some of the best I’ve had. Try to get a virtual balcony in your stateroom, it is really neat.

I probably would not book another cruise on this ship. I like the newer, bigger ships better. Also, I have been to all three ports that this cruise stopped at in the past, and twice is enough.

My families and I were enjoying the trip but the only thing we did not satisfy was labadee ( Haiti) . We went there and we didn’t find any Haitian food there. I hope that for next time you guys plain to place a restaurant there. Thank you so much for your service.

All in all a great cruise will I go back to this ship nope and will do my research better next time as I also thought the entertainment was boring for a RCCL cruise.

Crew tries hard and is always very accommodating and pleasant. Ship nice and good size.

To set the background for my review, this was our 7th cruise on Royal Caribbean and our 22nd cruise overall.  We previously cruised on the Explorer of the Seas 10 years ago back in 2012. We booked this cruise because Card Player Cruises was holding a special poker event curing the journey. They set up their own poker room in the Conference Center and offered tournaments and cash games every day. My wife played every day, but I am not a poker player so I did not participate in the poker event. We ate with fellow participants and I did take advantage of the special food offered in the Card Player Poker Room. We did not have any issues with COVID, and we felt that this was our first cruise that felt similar to pre-pandemic days.

Overall great cruise except fir food choice in bigfet. Yes it is buffet food but not what we expected from Royal. Still Loyal to Royal!!

We enjoyed this cruise as it had 3 stops and 2 sea days over the course of 6 nights. The staff have been excellent, the food has been great too.
