If you have not been to Alaska this is a must do and there is no better ship than royal. the ship, staff, service, entertainment and food are outstanding.

This was a great trip. However, I wish I had chosen the one way cruise to Anchorage Alaska. Would have seen more of Alaska and stopped at more port of calls.

It was a great family trip. Lovely and picturesque destination. Typical alaskan weather except the sun was out for 1/2 day in skagway which was very welcomed. Attentive crew. Wished that some activities were not climate dependent i.e. pool, rock climbing.

Loved the ship and crew. Would do this cruise again. Go for a balcony the views are stunning and worth every penny. We also got out worth from the drink package.

I enjoyed my Alaskan Cruise. I normally cruise warmer climate, but wanted a change. It was truly and enjoyable cruise. I truly enjoyed the cooler temperature of Alaska and Victoria, Canada.

Overall we had a great time. We had some customer service snags which were never satisfied. I blame this on customer service staff nut having the proper authority to make decisions. We spent three hours on separate days dealing with onboard credit we were supposed to get and never did. Never resolved even though it was an issue created by Royal Caribbean.

It was great! Our family had a blast and 3 out of 6 of us experienced our first cruise. We loved taking dance lessons, getting a massage, getting a schedule of events each morning and looking forward to good food

The cruise was fine. I don't know if I will go through American again to book it though. Royal Caribbean didn't seem to want to help with anything because we booked through American. And American didn't give us any pointers, like when to schedule flights, when we booked it.

From start to finish, an excellent trip. Our 4th time cruising to Alaska. We can't get enough. We are already booked for 2018. Kudos to Mitchell on the Grizzly Falls Zipline! Best excursion ever.

Overall great time. We'd cruise to Alaska a third time! In my opinion, the best time of year to go seems to be mid to late July / early August for best weather.

This was an excellent cruise. We saw great sights and had a great trip. Our family and friends enjoyed our time of fellowship as we experienced glaciers, waterfalls, and the wildlife.

This was a most enjoyable cruise. The views were beautiful and the excursions were took were informative and provided breathtaking views. The staff and crew on the Explorer of The Sea were happy, friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed our cruise. Enjoyed Seattle. The hotel "El Grapo Hotel" took us directly to the port and entering was fast and we turned our luggage in and checked in with the cruise authorities and went directly to our room and dropped our bags off and went directly up to eat lunch. It was a pleasant experience.

The ice cream machine is the one of my favorite. I do recommend the cruise to my friends.

The salaries of the waiters are too low. The most of waiters are working hard, but they get less. What poor guys! Nobody really concerns them about their life because they are not......................................................................................

People, which include I and my family, wasted foods so much in Windjammer Marketplace Casual Dinner. I think we should have saved foods to increase the waiters' salaries. In my opinion, the best way to save foods is not free for any foods.

The food was exceptional, our waiters Nelson and Matheus were friendly and made us feel very royal. Nanang did a great job at servicing our room. Entertainment was good, Graham Seymour was awesome.

Alaska is a must-see, especially if you are a nature lover. This cruise was a perfect way to enjoy some of Alaska's spectacular sights, and Victoria was a bonus that I probably would never have seen otherwise. The round trip itinerary made planning easier for me, and there was a good balance of port time and ship time. There was plenty to do all of the time. This was my third Royal Caribbean cruise, and they provide a consistent experience. The food and service lacked the WOW power of my previous cruises, but it is still great. Don't hesitate on this one, Go! 

The ship was great. The food was great. The service was great as always. The pools were heated.  The scenery was spectacular.  The only complaint was 4 sea days. We wish we had one more stop. Don't miss the Butchart Gardens awesome place!!

This was just a below par trip where we were nickled and dimed to death the whole trip.  We only had two days of the seven in Alaska.  Food was very disappointing.

We were very pleased with rooms, cleanliness of ship, meals  in main dining were excellent, service was excellent, & activities for teens and young adults was great.  In general we as a family had a great time.

My husband and I had a Jr. Suite.  On last day our deck was painted and we could not use for 2 hr. and then they shampooed carpet and again  out  of room for over 2hr.  Since we chose not to go ashore as we had been to Victoria Island before, this was very unsettling.

Also evening entertainment was scheduled so we were usually not able to attend as we chose a 8PM seating.  The two shows we saw were only of moderate quality.

I would , however, recommend this ship to others, especially if young adults or teens are also traveling.
