Great weather and view plus a pod of humpbacks coming into Juneau and orcas in victoria.

Good cruise but Alaskan ports are too focused on selling souvenirs. They should focus on travelling experience instead.

Enjoyed this cruise very much. Everyone who worked on this cruise from room attendant to the maitra'd were superb! Loved Chops Grill and Johnny Rocket's. I highly recommend this ship, this cruise and cruiseline.com

We all were enjoyed very much on the Alaska Cruise Trip.!

I had two pieces of luggage torn up by the cruise line. One had the handle cut or ripped off, the other had the frame busted loose from the fabric. Both had to be discarded. Among other things, this is my last cruise.

It was a great trip. Nothing disappointed! We will talk about how much fun we had on Explorer of the Seas and the ports of call for the rest of our lives. One in our party was very nervous about cruising - after this trip she's hooked on cruising.

Alaska was awesome and I highly recommend that you go once in your lifetime. Royal Caribbean was a good value and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Very satisfying cruise to Alaska on one or our favorite Class (Voyager) ships. Overall a very typical RCCL cruise with a few very minor flaws.

This is my first cruise with Royal Caribbean, Explorer of the Sea. Me and my husband will be sailing the Carnival cruiseline for now on. The food with Royal Caribbean is the same everyday at the Windjammer, the fun on this cruise ship is for an older crowd, nothing for kids if you bring your grandkids. The shuttles to downtown has a cost, not like Carnival which is free. To many hidden cost. No mid- night snacks places like the Carnival sandwiches, pizzas, etc. If you sick, you cannot see a doctor without paying $100 up front. More than half the passengers are older on budget, this don't make sense. The only positive was our cabin, we got a suite very roomy and comfortable. Carnival my family and I will see you soon for my granddaughter graduation cruise.

We travelled as a large group (4 generations). I feel like there was something for everyone and it was great way to take a family vacation.

This was our 2nd time to Alaska with Royal and it was everything I remember and expected. The weather was great with no rain and temps near 70 every day. We will probably do it again in a few years.

this was my first cruise. Not sure if the cruising part is for us. We found some of the activities boring and spent more of our time in our room enjoying the view. my children ages 22, 21, and 17 did seem to find plenty of things to enjoy. It felt that there was quite a bit of push to spend extra money. such as drink packages, art work, next cruise or stores in the promenade. We really enjoyed the ports much more. If we do cruise again we will likely pick a ship that has more ports of call and time in port to enjoy different areas of the world.

Our cruise was absolutely incredible. The excellent weather help make it even better.

We had a blast on this cruise! The only real negative was the kids program and that would probably be why we won’t cruise again for a while. Otherwise, everything was awesome- including our port day excursions!

Our first 48 hours at sea, the seas were rough. But after that, "smooth" sailing! We did have a lot of fog, so no evening star watching. The ship was clean, but is showing her age.(we had paint chips on our balcony from peeling paint), but our cabin was very clean.

The cruise was magnificent. Perfect weather! We were very happy with the excursions we had planned, Juneau - Whale Watching and lunch at Orca Point Lodge, Skagway - White Pass & Yukon Route Railway, Victoria BC - Butchart Gardens. Only regret - we didn't have time to explore Juneau as our excursion was all day.

Had a great time, without kids, enjoying time with my husband and 3 other couples.

This was our first cruise experience and we enjoyed it so much, we booked another while on the ship!

5 if us on this trip. My wife and I and 3 of our 4 adult boys. Great cruise. Boat in good shape. Bucket list. Crew was amazing. Especially Jose in the R bar. Tell him Jeff says hi. Weather was in the 80s all week. Could not have asked for a better week. Definitely do the train ride in Skagway and the Ocean Raft excursion. Did the glacier and whale watching tour in Juneau - both very enjoyable. Saw a pod of Orcas and Humpback whales. Saw the gardens in Victoria which were beautiful. Definitely get a balcony. We had starboard side and saw whales and icebergs. Food was just ok in the windjammer - it’s a buffet. Main Dining room was very good and service was great. Got the 3 dining package. We ate at Chops - excellent: Giovanni’s just ok. Appetizers were very good. Izumi for lunch (extra) and dinner. Both good. Entertainment was good. Shows, trivia, game shows. All in all a great trip. Not sure we’d go back, but great memories. Off to the ABC islands next year. Loyal to Royal.
