I had two pieces of luggage torn up by the cruise line. One had the handle cut or ripped off, the other had the frame busted loose from the fabric. Both had to be discarded. Among other things, this is my last cruise.

Embarkation processing was quick and easy. But, we had priority check in. Otherwise it would have been slow and painful. When our bags arrived, one of them had the handle ripped off.

Food and Dining

Dining room was excellent as expected. The Windjammer food was a notch below cafeteria food and it was a madhouse. At times there wasn’t any food to be had as all the food venues were closed, except for the promenade cafe, which only had cold sandwiches. Not my idea of cruise food.
Windjammer Marketplace

If I could give it a negative rating I would say minus 2. The food was terrible, and tables that weren’t dirty were hard to find. The latest nes at the three buffets were long and slow. We ate there three times and said, no more.

Hard to tell how good the food and s rvice was. It was only open one time when we tried to eat there.

What on board activities? On our sailing days, there was very little todo other than shop or watch RCTV.
Entertainment

Entertainment was not very good. They had headliners I had never heard of and they were obviously not top billing material.
Service and Staff

All the staff was attentive and quick to please. Our room steward busted his hump to make us happy. Guest services were always friendly and helpful. Our travel agent messed up on our booking and they arranged a complimentary ship to shore phone call to talk to the agent.
Ship Quality

The ship is showing its age. While everything was superficially clean, the details were lacking. Carpets were dirty as if they had not been vacuumed in months. We had a leak under the toilet that we had to stop up with bath towels.
Cabin / Stateroom

The carpet was filthy. I know they had vacuum cleaners, but they must not have worked. I sat in the floor to put my luggage under the bed and when I got up I had brown hair on my pants and lots of it. My wire and I are both silver headed, so it wasn’t ours. There was a leak under the toilet that you got your feet in when you sat on the toilet. It was still there when we left the ship.
Ship tip
Don’t. Pick another cruise line if you must cruise.
Sorry to hear you had a bad time.
My wife and I have cruised RCCL 9 times and EOS 3 times. I love this ship and have never had as bad experience on her.
She is getting a little tired and is due for refit soon. Can't wait to see what she is like after her refit.
I have done this ship 3 times never had any of these problems entertainment was amazing rooms were always clean staff and food were great over I give this ship 5 out of 5 one of my favorite rccl ships actually going on this ship next year can't wait
