Review summary

We had a blast on this cruise! The only real negative was the kids program and that would probably be why we won’t cruise again for a while. Otherwise, everything was awesome- including our port day excursions!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We always had an excellent experience in the main dining room. Our server was Marvic and she was fantastic! The food at Chops Grill was delicious too but the service wasn’t that great.

Onboard Activities

Rock Climbing Wall

My seven year old sis rock climbing every time it was open. She loved it. The workers were attentive and encouraging. It was wonderful!

Center Ice Rink

This was awesome! My girls had a blast ice skating!!

Entertainment

Library & Card Room

4 out of 5

I would’ve liked to see more games available for use in this room and maybe a rental opportunity where you can sign the games out for an hour at a time because the room was always so crowded.

Children's Programs

2 out of 5
I would’ve liked to see more variety of activities for the kids program. My two daughters were in separate rooms and both were mostly bored with the “ball type” activities they had to play. I was very disappointed with this aspect of the cruise.

Adventure Ocean

2 out of 5

I was most disappointed with this program. I was hoping for more of a variety in offering of activities for the kids. My two daughters were in separate programs because of age and both of them were bored after day two of doing basically the same thing all day. This is what would stop me from cruising again in the near future, which is too bad because everything else was so great!

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Everything was well maintained and clean!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was always cleaned. Our cabin service was awesome and we always had beds made up and turned down in timely fashion. I wish the shower had a small shelf in it for shaving!

Ship tip

Bring magnetic hooks to make more room for your stuff. Eat in the main dining room often. Get out and e plods the ship- there’s so many great activities planned!

We did a “scenic hike and float” with Becca and it was amazing!! She was so knowledgeable and clearly passionate about her job. We had an awesome experience because of her!

How old are your daughters? Were they in different rooms because of different ages? I’ve generally heard nothing but great things about their kids program. Under 3? We’ve been waiting for our daughter to turn 3 so she could be in the full program so our next cruise is right after her third birthday.
