I had so many moments where I wanted to switch out of this cruise due to comments about the age of this ship and the lack of water slides and stuff for kids to do. I am so glad I stayed with it as we had the most amazing vacation.. even the kids said so. There was something to do everyday to keep everybody as busy as they want to be. The ports were all beautiful. Loved having the flexibility to do what we wanted at the ports and relax by the pool for the rest of the day or take a nap. It was money well spent and nobody wanted to leave at the end. The food was great with no complaints. We didn’t even get a chance to try the speciality dining as there were plenty to eat around.

It was sooo smooth. Showed up at the designated time and walked right through without any hold up. We actually got to bypass other lines due to having the kids with us.

Main dining room was great. Had my time dining and made reservations on the first night for the rest of the week. The food was amazing and so were the employees. Enjoyed sitting at different table each night. Didn’t do speciality dining. Windjammer was great too with so much variety to choose. The Promenade cafe saved us a few times when we returned starving from an excursion - they have good pizza and decent sandwiches.
Onboard Activities

My husband and Kids enjoyed the pool,Rock climbing, the arcade and the 20min skating sessions. They also did other soccer and basketball activities.

The ice skating show and Impact Argentinian group was wonderful! There were parties in the promenade and various locations, comedy show and various fame shows. Didn’t attend the late evening events due to having young kids with us.

They loved doing ice skating and various sports. There were plenty of things to do that we didn’t even get to sign them up to the kids club.

Our room Stewart was so attentive and came in several times a day to tidy up our room. All the personnel we encountered were very polite, friendly and helpful! We were truly treated like Royals.

The ship was just the perfect size and was easy to navigate. it is really beautiful and you only see the rusting and oldness in small places. Everything was clean and well kept.
Cabin / Stateroom

Got a guarantee ocean view balcony room with a sofa bed. All the beds were comfortable and the view amazing. It fit ok with 4 of us in it. The size was just good with two kids and two adults.
Did a bubble tour due to having unvaccinated kids with us. Did highlights of St Lucia through RCC which was a wonderful tour with the amazing Mrs. Candy-for 6hrs. Got to see all the major points and learned so much about the island. Lunch was included with tour. The roads will make you say your prayers and confessions thou as it is steep with various tight turns.
It rained here do we did a last minute Essentials of St Kitts tour through RCC which was 3.5hrs. The tour was great and got to see the manor and the fortress. We had 45min to walk around in each location. The tour bus on the other hand was really old and didn’t feel safe taking the kids in especially with all the twisty roads and turns but we made it alive.
Did Shopping and Beach excursion through RCC due to having unvaccinated kids. The drive was educational and the beach was great. There are free chairs and shed on the beach. The shopping not so much.
Thank you so much for your review. We cruise in July 2022 on Explorer and because of the comments relating to the ship needing upgrading and the bad service we started to panic and thought of cancelling or to choose another cruise. We feel 100% better as a result of your review!! We can't wait!
