Disembarkation

Disembarkation was very quick. Other than my husband was not allowed to leave until he visited customer service. They had us down to pay cash before disembarkation but we had a credit card on file to take care of this..

I went on enchantment last year and that seemed large to me so I’m going on explorer in 10 days and I’m sure it will seem bigger it’s not that small it’s over a 1000 feet long and enchantment was about 920

I have sailed on Explorer.. It was average size and in nice condition 2016 : I prefer smaller ships for crowd size and 'ye olde world sea experience' .. huge, wizz-bang adventure vessels only stress me out. 😎😁🤔

Your very first cruise was onboard the Explorer of the Seas, and at that time it was the largest ship afloat. She is still impressive in size, but the newest ships being a couple hundred feet bigger, I guess can make the argument that she seems"small". What a beautiful ship she was back then. She's been "transformed" twice since then, so she could have crowded more stuff onboard and lost her spacious appeal.

I always smile when someone calls a 138,000 GT ship that holds 3,100+ passengers “small”. The first ships I sailed on in the 80s and 90s were 20,000 GT and held 450 passengers and we thought they were huge.
