Drinks were excellent, had a great bartender marcus who made us perfect sangria for the table every night. the food was good,different options that you are used to on a caribbean or US cruise. but the desserts seemed to be lacking. Chops is always a great way to treat yourself and also Izumi,had wonderful dinners there. The Windjammer always comes in clutch has so many different options it is impossible not to find something you wouldn't like.

The lady who worked at the piano in schooner every night was not very friendly and some of the shows like mo town and elton john were not what i have seen before on a royal caribbean cruise,but the pool band was great and also the classic love and marriage shows were fun to see.

Dizzys is the best view on the ship. You can see everything up there , most of the time quiet and relaxing and easy to get a drink and take in the scenery and pool activities.

the bar ,and restaurant staff were excellent our concierge Denzel was so helpful and friendly. Allan the head water was a riot! we loved him. Always a kind word and awesome stories, took requests of anything we might have wanted but did not see on the menu.

i love explorer of the seas. It was the cleanest we have seen it in years. fresh coats of paint everywhere, no rust. Rarely did you see an empty glass or garbage sitting out. Beautiful ship. I can't wait to see the new renovations after dry dock.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room is definitely very spacious. The state room attendant kept everything immaculate! The bed and couches were very comfortable along with the pillows you got to choose from for your own personal comfort. The bathroom is definitely something to be seen. The jaquizzi tub and the shower that can be used as a sauna is a great feature. But in my opinion the best part of the room is the balcony.The hot tub on the balcony is the reason we get the room, and it is absolutely my favorite spot to be. Its a good place to enjoy while watching the waves or the beautiful port views.
Ship tip
stay on it as long as you can :) if you would like to lay out in the solarium for the sea day i highly recommend getting up early and bringing breakfast with you or having it in windjammer right before. seats fill up quick and people rarely leave there spot, or they try and save there spots with towels for the day. oh also DO NOT FORGET TO HAND IN YOUR TOWELS!!!! :)
the jewel of fiji tour is one of the best excursions i have ever done. the waterfall and the kava ceremony are something special. such kind people too. it was a wonderful experience
gorgeous beaches. can walk around the whole island in 20 minutes. it is very very VERY hot there make sure to get a spot in the shade.. do not invest in a clam shell the native are selling it is like sitting in a 1000 degree sauna.
