Review summary

This was good if you were just interested in the ports and a comfortable ship. The entertainment was lacking and the food was sub par.

Embarkation

Embarkation was pretty smooth, we had a shuttle from our hotel Last Quinta Inn, we were at the port by around 11:00 am. We were on the ship before 12:00. It was quicker than expected, no waiting.

We didn't do specialty dining because the food in main dining room and buffet was so poor we didn't think it could get much better with specialty dining. We had exceptional food on Carnival Splendor last year we were expecting so much on this trip and were so disappointed.

The ship is in very good condition, was expecting more wear and tear but was pleasantly surprised.

The public market was very crowded, we were staying near the space Needle and had planned to visit but was turned off by how old and dilapidated it looked, didn't seem worth it to visit. We walked around town, which was pretty clean and walkable but it didn't seem like there was much to do.

Explorer of the seas is a great ship lots to do never board ,make your own fun .Very comfortable cabins .The food in the main dinning room was great and the service was wonderful .Ship was clean cant think of a negative except lm sure l picked the shortest days to cruise lol
